Information about Music in Norway
We stock recorded music from Norway, we have a large selection of CDs and cassette tapes with labels from well known Norwegian artists and some unknown.
The great Norwegian violin virtuoso Ole Bull (1810-1880) had a brilliant career in Europe. He gave Norway the Hardanger Fiddle. Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) gave Norway its classical music and Halfdan Kjerulf (1815-1868) contributed fine piano works.
