About Us

The Den Norske Butikken (Store) is located in our Sons of Norway Lodge building at 6610 West 14th Avenue in beautiful Lakewood, Coloradoat the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The store is managed by Severt and Joan.

Severt founded the store from the back of his station wagon using suit cases for storage. In 1992 the lodge built its own building and provided the store with several rooms. The store has expanded many times over, and now in addition to its walk-in customers, it is expanding to the internet.

The lodge is host to various Scandinavian folk art classes, demonstrations, author signings and other festivities. Their wares are located in our store. We have a local Rosemaling instructor, Al Ehret his wares are also in our store.
